200-layer CuNiMai Damascus: a K720 steel core wrapped in lines of copper and nickel that draw bold waves across the blade.

The S-grind, with a subtle hollow along the blade face, helps sliced food release from the knife – potato or cucumber slices simply fall away.
A set of two bunka knives that belong together like yin and yang. Both have a 17 cm blade of 200-layer carbon CuNiMai Damascus – a K720 core wrapped in lines of copper and nickel and two layers of 100-layer Damascus – and an S-grind.
They differ in their stabilised spalted birch handles: Yin is dark, Yang is light. The sheaths are brown leather with a wooden pin. The knives are sold only as a set.
A few simple habits – cleaning, drying, oil and proper sharpening. We have put it all in one place.
